RPA specialist on demand
We are stuck technically, or considering a change of RPA platform
You have your own Power Automate or UiPath developers, and they can do most of it. Right now they are stuck on the last 20 percent of a specific solution, or you are weighing up whether part of your automation should move to Power Platform. You do not need to outsource. You need a technical lifeline.
Does this sound familiar?
The robot works attended but fails when it runs unattended on the server. Outlook behaves differently without a user logged in. The API needs an authentication method the documentation does not explain. The XPath hits the right element on the developer's machine and the wrong one in production.
Your developers have spent days on it. Not because they are bad, but because these are the problems you only solve quickly if you have seen them before. And because there is nobody to ask.
Or you have a different kind of question: Should the UiPath robots you run today stay where they are, or should new automations be built on Power Platform? And how do Copilot Studio agents fit in with what you already have?
Anders on the task
Anders Jensen
Microsoft MVP and UiPath MVP
You do not need to outsource the solution. We act as the technical lifeline when your own team hits something hard, and as a sounding board when the platform decision has to be made process by process.
What RPA specialist support can include
Typically short Teams sessions or an hour package, where your developers call on the specialist as needed. The technical problems listed here are the ones we have actually solved.
The last 20 percent
You can already develop yourselves, but you are stuck on the difficult part of a specific solution.
- Troubleshooting in Power Automate Desktop when a flow fails without an obvious cause.
- Reviewing the RPA environment and setup, including hosted machines and the wider technical configuration.
- API integrations and HTTP authentication against systems with thin documentation.
- XML and XPath, when selectors hit the wrong element in production.
- Outlook problems in unattended desktop flows and Exchange setup with Power Automate cloud flows.
- Error handling and logging, so the robot fails in a controlled way and can be restarted.
- SharePoint, Excel, and attachments, when file handling causes trouble.
- Data extraction from invoices and other documents.
An ongoing technical RPA partnership
You do not necessarily want an external developer full time, but you want access to an experienced specialist over a longer period.
- Guidance on your own solutions, architecture, and technical design choices.
- Developing specific robots when the pipeline is full.
- APIs, integrations, troubleshooting, and operational questions as they arise.
- Workshops and knowledge transfer to your developers.
- New projects as the need arises, without a fresh onboarding every time.
We use UiPath today. Should we move to Power Automate?
This is not about picking a winner. The decision should be made process by process, based on existing investments, technical requirements, and the platform your organisation is heading towards.
- A technical and strategic assessment of the two platforms against your portfolio.
- Mapping existing automations and assessing what should be migrated, redesigned, or left on UiPath.
- Help with migration or redesign where it makes sense.
- Building structures and frameworks in Power Automate that your UiPath developers will recognise from UiPath.
- Knowledge transfer to your internal developers.
Making UiPath, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform work together
New AI initiatives do not have to mean throwing away existing RPA investments. The technologies can be integrated so your UiPath robots become part of new agent solutions.
- Architecture and guidance on the division of roles between the technologies.
- Copilot Studio as the agent and user layer on top of existing automation.
- Reusing UiPath automations from agents and flows.
- Power Automate for the Microsoft-native workflows where it is the best tool.
- Governance around Copilot Studio and Power Platform, so the new layer does not open new gaps.
How we have helped others
The examples are anonymised. Hour packages are used very differently: Some intensively over a few weeks, others over many months.
-
A technical lifeline for the client's own developers
Several clients where the collaboration has run over a longer period and the role has mainly been to help the client's own staff through specific technical problems in short Teams sessions.
-
A multi-year partnership from robots to architecture
Client relationships spanning several years that began with specific robots and grew into ongoing guidance on APIs, unattended flows, Exchange, error handling, and logging.
-
Assessing UiPath against Power Automate
Guidance for organisations with a UiPath portfolio that are considering Power Platform, on what should move, be redesigned, or stay, and on how UiPath-style frameworks can be recreated in Power Automate.
Price and format
The hour package is made for exactly this: 15, 30, or 60 hours with an RPA specialist from our network, used as needed in sessions of at least 60 minutes over Teams. Some use it intensively over a few weeks, others over many months. A platform assessment can also start with a workshop day at your site.

Frequently asked questions
Can we get help with one specific problem without a longer programme?
Yes. The smallest hour package is 15 hours, and it can be used on individual problems over the following year. Many start with one problem and use the rest as new ones come up.
Do you work with UiPath or only with Power Automate?
Both. Anders is both a Microsoft MVP and a UiPath MVP, and the specialists in our network work on both platforms. That is why we can assess a migration without having a stake in the answer.
Should we move everything from UiPath to Power Automate?
Rarely. The decision is made process by process. Some robots should stay on UiPath, others should be redesigned on Power Platform, and new automations are typically built where the organisation is heading.
Can our UiPath robots be used from a Copilot Studio agent?
Yes, in the right architecture. Copilot Studio can be the agent and user layer while existing UiPath automations do the work behind it. It takes guidance on the division of roles and on governance, but the investment does not have to be lost.
